In 2004, seven producers came together with a common vision and passion. They wanted to start a company with a strict focus to holistically produce the very best beef in the US. The goal was to produce a product that would be recognized and sought after by chefs and beef connoisseurs for its unique flavor, tenderness, and health benefits – all of the features Wagyu beef naturally provides.
In 2005, Imperial Wagyu Beef® was born.
Our Commitment to “All Natural”
We are committed toward producing the highest quality beef using traditional production methods through all phases of production. As part of our holistic production system, all calves are vaccinated on the farm to protect against and prevent disease reducing the need for antibiotics. Most of our calves are raised on lush green vistas before entering our long, slow feeding phase of over 400 days. Cattle are fed a nutritionist recommended all-vegetarian diet. Additionally, our cattle are handled with strict care protocols throughout the entire production system.
The original seven partners were a unique group of individuals, each with years of experience and expertise spanning across all aspects of the beef industry such as genetics, cattle nutrition, cow/calf production, feeding, and harvesting.
Five of those original partners remain active in the organization continuing to focus on their vision and maintaining the consistency and quality customers have come to expect.
